The Kinesthetic Edge for Gofers Collection includes an ebook and seven audio (mp3) lessons that promote heightened kinesthetic awareness and full body integration.

The program is designed to be done over a three-day period. It should take you about 1 to 1.5 hours per day. After completing the program, you can continue to use the audio lessons as a warmup to prepare for future golf lessons or games.

Each day begins with an introductory reading in your ebook that will introduce you to the philosophy and benefits of studying Awareness Through Movement®. This will be followed by an Awareness lesson, which is performed lying on a mat. The Awareness lessons will help you to experience a heightened level of kinesthetic awareness as you start to develop sensory-based perceptions of your body in movement.

The Awareness lessons are followed by Golf Integration lessons. These will help you to apply what you feel on the mat to your golf swing.

As your awareness shifts to an internal understanding of your movement, the integration and coordination of movement throughout your body will improve. This results in movement that feels easy and effortless—and a golf swing that flows.

This program is based upon Andrea’s years of work in the somatic movement field as a Feldenkrias Method teacher. It is designed for those who already have a good understanding of golf technique, and are looking for a cross training method that can increase kinesthetic awareness and mind body integration. Zip File

When you open the zip file, you will find a main folder, with two folders inside.

  • One folder contains your EBOOK in two different file formats: PDF and EPUB.

    • The EPUB version, which has the audio lessons embedded, provides the most seamless experience of the program. Epub files work with many, but not all devices, and not the Kindle app.

    • The PDF version is universally compatible and does work with the Kindle app. However, this format does not have embedded audio. Therefore, you will need to use the audio mp3 files—so keep them together and somewhere easy to access.

  • The second folder contains your Audio (mp3) files. Depending upon how you plan to listen to the audio, you may either want to keep them in the folder, or transfer them into your preferred music app for syncing across devices.

Mobile Phones and Tablets

You may already be aware that unlike desktops and laptops, phones and tablets do not generally (at least at this writing) support the direct downloading of mp3s or epub files, except through subscription and app services like Apple’s Music and Amazon. Therefore, in most cases you will need to first download the zip file onto your desktop or laptop, transfer the files into your preferred music and ebook apps, then sync to your other devices. (It’s easier than it sounds.)

However, some newer iPads and iPhones do allow the downloading and unzipping of zip files. This is great news because it means that you can complete your purchase from your phone or iPad.
